We went in March so heat or crowds were not a concern with 65F for a high. Still brought plenty of water as the hike is moderately long. Google paps lets you explore the lay of the land well to prepare and get your bearings. We started about 9:30 am so not too early. There are multiple crossings through the stream which were fun for the kids and the worst thing to worry about was getting kids ankle deep in water. It added a bit of excitement :). It is a bit long but the terrain is navigable by an 8 year old with no problems. We did not rush and stopped and admired the scenarry so it took about 2 hrs to get there but only about 50 minutes to get back with a brisk walk with no stopping.
Hi everyone! Years ago I camped with some friends on the Green River in Moab. I believe that the campground was called "Negro Bill's," but I could be wrong.
