Spent a full day sightseeing in the Buda Castle area. It is stunning and a must see if you’re visiting Budapest. There is a funicular railway to take you to the castle however we couldn’t find it…Full review by 478Anne

The whole location is reminiscent of Gruyère in France a little commune on the hill wandering around was a true delight. Amazed that much of this last through the war such ornate buildingsFull review by truffles444

Is the castle accessible with a wheelchair? Is there a toilet for the handicapped, with a handle on both sides of the seat?

There are parts that are accessible but many areas that would be a challenge file a wheelchair user.

Is this place open on a Monday? Been caught out with museums etc being shut on a Monday

No it’s not open on a Monday although you can still walk around the grounds. Open every other day.
