Hello Ruby, thank you for your question. Doon Heritage Village is open May 1 to Labor Day Weekend and is open during the weekends during that time. We find that visits slow down after the summer and therefor close the Village on weekends. We hope you'll visit us this summer.

Open from May 1st - September 5th, from 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Special programs at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Very informative website to google -Waterloo Region Museum. Give yourselves at least 1/2 a day to take in the fabulous 1914 history and ambience, and relax with a picnic lunch!!!
