This hotel is past it's use by date. Room is in major need of updating. Floors in the room are filthy. House keeping is almost non existent and they don't clean the floors. Internet is not worth att… Full review by Chris C

There is a gift shop and some educational displays but there will probably be no Manatees as the warm water from the power plant is their draw in the colder winter months

Here definitely NO. However on Crystal River, I accidentaly walked on one. Many years back. I was shocked, when I realized that. The Manatee just continued grazing and never moved. We had come in by plane and had seen them by the dozen.At water level we saw none. That' s why I walked on one, thinking I climbed on a rock.
