There are birds everywhere but you can walk out on the boat docks, around and on Morro Rock there are lots of gulls and Peregrine Falcons; if you can get on a skiff with Mike at (I forgot the company name - but you can find my review). He is great and take you all over the bay and see the heron and cormorant rookery.
