I love this place! It is GREAT place to take your kids, or go on a romantic weekend trip, or just go solo. That's so much to do. White water rafting, it's also right off of Appalachian Trail. Full review by Heather M

I think it should be fine - as long as you listen to your guide and don’t let yourself get too anxious. I was there last month - 1st time - the guides said the water was high but they’re very capable of navigating the water and we all had a blast. Several rafts flipped - one was a roudy bachelor party full of wankers that were messing about. The other had a few kids and all ended up in water. Our raft moved quickly to position and I helped pull several people into ours. In all instances I was impressed with how quickly and professionally the guides jumped into action and responded. Then instructed us to assist. I have a 10 yr old and I’m planning on going back next month and bringing him.
