I have done this before and even stayed 1 night, but only when there are spare guest passes/ rooms available in the lodge. Private bookings work differently but I know that when you book with Away Resorts you get enough guest passes for the lodge size rather than the party size ie 10 berth = 10 passes even if the party is 6 people. If you have spare rooms, even if you don’t want the guest passes you can definitely have visitors because you pay per lodge, not per person - so just let reception know. If you have a full lodge or are booking privately I’m sorry that I cannot give you the answer to that one, even if guest passes or spare rooms are not required. It may be worth checking with the park/ booking provider via telephony.
