Ruth is a town in Rutherford County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 347 at the 2020 census. The town is concentrated around the intersection of the U.S. Route 64 and U.S. Route 74A. Ruth lies immediately northeast of Rutherfordton and northwest of Spindale.
