Not a big falls, but surprisingly photogenic and easy to get to from Valentine environs. If you come in the summer, you’ll enjoy stepping into the falls for a little refreshment. Well worth a visit… Full review by mingfatsai

We headed off the Road To Nowhere(US-83) to check out the Smith Falls and we are glad that we did. This is a hidden off the beaten path gem. Full review by 63impala

We saw rent caking along the river. Did not see RV.

Yes, just follow the trail

How far of a hike to the falls?
A:
Maybe 3.5 miles roundtrip or less. I also recommend floating down the Niobrara River if you go in the summer. Google to check dates the park is open.
