Our only means of transporting divers is by boat so we are not able to pick you up from your hotel. There is a very good taxi service, only costing a few € , from your hotel to the taxi rank on the marina in Los Gigantes where we are based. There is also a very regular bus service, ask at the reception for times. Here is our general information. Boat dives depart at 10:00 and 12:30 We meet at Dive Centre half hour prior. We return to the marina between dives so for those wanting 2 dives we have time for a coffee and change of cylinders before going out again. We have a fast boat and the majority of our dives sites are within 15 minutes travelling time from the marina. We close on Sundays. We vary the dive sites daily depending on conditions qualifications/experience etc Our sub tropical climate with volcanic underwater terrain is home to a huge diversity of marine life, including stingrays, octopus, lobsters and fish too numerous to list. We have a special trip :- Our stingray feeding site, depth 14 – 16 metres. Every 4 – 5 days. Let me know when you would like your first dive and I will book you in. Medical Statement If you are fit and healthy you can complete a medical self-declaration statement on your arrival. If you have any health problems you will need a certificate of fitness to dive from your doctor. If you require this form, email me and I will forward it to you Scuba Diving Insurance. In the European Union it is compulsory to have scuba diving insurance to cover you for third party liability and medical recompression therapy. We are affiliated with Dive Assure and can offer policies at very reasonable rates to customers who do not have their own scuba diving insurance. Current cost per person (Jan 2017) 1 day €7.50 1 week €15 1 month €24 1 Year €39 A deposit of €20 per person is required. A Paypal money request will be emailed to you. Your booking will be confirmed on the receipt of your deposit. The balance in € cash (not visa or mastercard) is required on the day. Tenerife is sub tropical with warm clear waters which attracts a huge diversity of marine life. You can check it all out on our web site. I will be in Los Gigantes for a week beginning 19th June with my boyfriend. Neither of us have ever scuba/ snorkelled before. Is this good for beginners? Also would we need to pre book and how would we do this? Thomson doesn't offer it as an excursion from what I can tell.
