Hi, Jeanette. What would you like to know about this attraction? I am confused as some reviewers say you need to be in great physical shape to go to "Volcan Baru" and others talk about driving up! We are in our 70's with bad knees, etc. Does this rule us out of getting to Volcan Baru?

yes its quite a hike if you want to get near the top. you can drive near it but you need to walk up and up for a while with a quide.
Has anyone gone up the side from Boquete and then gone down the more scenic side to the west? I am curious if you can get a shuttle back to Boquette as it is a little town on the other side. If so, does anyone know the cost?
