Never went to Utah in the summer but mid May might be ok. There is no shade but because it’s a canyon it keeps it a little cool. The downside is it’s a hike so you’ll sweat eitherway. We started at 9 in March. I say start around 8 so that it’s not too hot on your way out. Have fun!

Hi everyone! Years ago I camped with some friends on the Green River in Moab. I believe that the campground was called "Negro Bill's," but I could be wrong.
