Truly a man made engineering feat. Go during visitor center hours and try to do the walking tour. Take a map bc there is swimming allowed in areas there. It’s in the Flathead Forest. Full review by 253mzfit63

Yes you can fish the area, suppose to be great fishing, as far as I know you will need a Montana fishing license. Check the Montana Fish and Game Web Site for more info.
