We’ve been staying at the InterContinental Phuket, and just a short walk from your hotel, you’ll find two great beachfront spots—Pine Beach Bar and 333 At The Beach. Both are open until 11 PM and offer excellent food and a great atmosphere. If you’re looking for more budget-friendly options, there are plenty of restaurants and eateries along the beach to explore. As for island hopping, we haven’t personally tried it, but we’ve seen many long-tail boats arriving at the beach. There are also several water activity vendors along Kamala Beach, though we recommend being extra cautious with jet ski rentals, as we had a negative experience. For the best advice and arrangements, I’d suggest checking with your hotel concierge—they’re usually very helpful!

We’ve been here for the last 3 weeks and have had some different weather. 1st week was torrential rain, rained all day almost everyday. The 2nd week only rained for an hour or 2 around 11am most days, the rest of the day was nice, 28degrees and partly cloudy. The last week has been clear, hot and sunny almost everyday day, with no rain, or it rains for an hour before 5am. So pretty hit and miss, although it’s not too bad when it’s always so warm!
