If you are driving through stop here and ride the carousel. You do have to pay to park. We had lunch here at the park then rode the carousel. Full review by Selena S

How much is the parking for the day.
A:
Parking is free. Keep in mind that on weekends the park and beach might be busy. One can usually find parking except maybe during special event days, i.e. Canada Day.

Does anyone know if it is open this Saturday? One website says June 2 weekend and another says after Victoria Day thanks!

l was down there today and it was not going and the parking lot was under eight inches of water.They are still building the picnic area and everything is blocked off.

They are all the original animals as purchased from the Scarborough amusement park back in the 1921. Only one lion is not original as the original was purrrrloined (see what I did there) back in the 70's, and a new replacement was hand carved by a local charity group to replace it. Fun fact.....the reason the ride price is only 5 cents is because when the owner bequeathed it to the city at zero cost, one of the conditions was the ride price was to remain the same in perpetuity allowing virtually anyone access
