Weird question but what is the bottom of the main thermal pool like? Are swimming shoes advised if it's rocky? Or is it mainly a man made pool with a flat floor?

We went in barefoot and don't recall it having anything sharp to step on. Some areas are deeper than others so it isn't completely flat.
Hi, just want to know how deep are the thermal pools? I have small children.

I would say you will be holding your child all the time in the main pool. Probably even in the smaller pool. This may not be appropriate for young children even if they are being held.
