100% worth a visit. This place is absolutely amazing!!! Go into the debths of the ship and get so emersed in the history/atmosphere that coming back up on to deck comes as a shock. So much to see and… Full review by A3861JIclarel
Can you get public access to just walk along side it from the pavement. Or is access totally sealed off via a pay booth of some kind. Not needing to go on board.

It’s enclosed in a pay to view area. I think it’s even obscured from the opposite bank of the docks too!
