The New York Giants are likely searching for their next quarterback this offseason, and Vinnie Iyer of Sporting News made his latest prediction.

The New York Giants, who fell to 2-7 following their 27-22 loss to the Washington Commanders, might not be moving up the standings toward a postseason berth, but they’re at least moving up in the 2025 draft order.

It sounds as if that is the way the Giants are approaching these last seven games. They are 2-8 and going nowhere. When they come out of their bye week, they will play one inconsequential game after another.

Despite their regular season struggles, the New York Giants have been both impressed and pleased with their 2024 NFL draft class.

Currently, the Giants own the No. 2 overall pick thanks to their 2-8 record. A lot could still happen over the remaining seven games, but if this trend continues, the Giants are well on their way to another premium pick.
