A man has filed a $20 million federal civil rights lawsuit against police officers in Pickens County, Alabama, saying he was repeatedly and wrongly shocked with a Taser.

An Alabama city is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit on behalf of a man who was shown being tased while in handcuffs in a viral video.

The lawsuit highlights the excessive force, deliberate indifference, malicious prosecution and wrongful detainment” of Micah Washington, said his attorney.
