Philadelphia Flyers Recall Rodrigo Abols From Lehigh Valley
The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled forward Rodrigo Abols from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, it was announced Monday. Abols, who hails from Riga, Latvia, has spent the entire season with the Phantoms, collecting nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points in 34 regular season games.
Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: Recalled by Philadelphia
Abols hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he'll join the Flyers after Ryan Poehling (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday. Abols will likely serve mainly as a depth option for the NHL club, but it's possible that he enters a game at some point if the team deals with other injuries or if another forward needs a breather.

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Ryan Poehling has been placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. In addition, forward Rodrigo Abols has been recalled from the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
