A man pulled out a gun at a "Good Trouble Lives On" protest at a high-traffic west Mesa intersection after an earlier argument between demonstrators and a Trump supporter. Queen Creek resident Neal Scanlon said he was on a corner at the intersection of Dobson Road and Southern Avenue with several other protesters when a man in a pickup truck passenger's seat pulled a handgun on him.

The “ Good Trouble Lives On ” national day of action took place around the United States to protest President Donald Trump’s controversial policies such as mass deportations and Medicaid cuts.

“They are violating a lot of the constitutional rights of the American people,” he said, “especially when it comes to deporting immigrants without due process.”

Organizers said the protests are a response to what they describe as the Trump administration’s “most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations.”
