Southern University student Caleb Wilson's death was the result of an alleged off-campus Omega Psi Phi hazing incident, Baton Rouge police said.

All three individuals charged are Southern University and A&M College students, a spokesperson for the university confirmed Tuesday afternoon.

Thurman was extradited to Baton Rouge and was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of felony criminal hazing in connection with the death of Southern University student Caleb Wilson, 20. Wilson was repeatedly punched during an off-campus hazing ritual.
