Warner Bros. and Legendary have set a streaming premiere date for their cultural phenomenon, A Minecraft Movie, based on the hit video game of the same name. The film will begin streaming globally on Max on Friday, June 20, debuting on HBO linear on Saturday, June 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

After only just being released in theaters at the beginning of April 2025, A Minecraft Movie is already heading to streaming. And not only do we have a streaming date, but there’s also a linear release on HBO set.

The record-breaking video game adaptation starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa is headed to HBO Max later this month.
