President Donald Trump said he’s calling off the deployment of federal troops to San Francisco after speaking to billionaires Marc Benioff and Jensen Huang, as well as the city’s mayor, Daniel Lurie.

U.S. President Donald Trump will not deploy federal agents to San Francisco, the California city's mayor said on Thursday, citing a call with the Republican leader.

“We appreciate that the president understands that we are the global hub for technology, and when San Francisco is strong, our country is strong.”
