Warm temperatures and the chance for a few thunderstorms remain in Denver’s weather forecast through the July 4 holiday weekend. Most of the isolated storm chances will be Friday afternoon.

Metro Denver should see typical conditions for early July with temperatures in the low to mid-90s throughout the weekend, a slight breeze and a small chance of afternoon showers.

Thursday will be another hot day across the Denver metro area and Eastern Colorado with afternoon highs climbing into the 90s. Highs in the mountains will drop a couple of degrees as compared to Wednesday,
