Democratic Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles Tuesday evening announced a curfew of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time for parts of the city after five days of rioting.
She said in a news conference that she had declared a local emergency and that the curfew will run from 8 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
