The Los Angeles Lakers began life without LeBron James, who's expected to miss at least one to two weeks with a strained groin, on Monday with a 111-108 road loss to the Brooklyn Nets.  Luka Dončić finished with 22 points,

The two LA superstars were dominant on Tuesday against the Pelicans and have erased any concerns that they wouldn't mesh well.

Things appear to be going downhill for the Lakers. LeBron James recently sustained a groin injury and is expected to miss the next few weeks. Given the competitiveness of the Western Conference, the Lakers were hoping to avoid slipping in the standings during James’ absence.
