A busy stretch of motorway is to close overnight this week. The M5 northbound will be closed between junction 27 at Tiverton and junction 25 at Taunton from 21:00 GMT until 06:00 GMT on Tuesday and then again every night until Friday. The M5 has been closed in both directions after a vehicle fire near Exeter on Wednesday morning. A lorry carrying electric vehicles burst into flames casuing the motorway to be closed between junction 28 at Cullompton and junction 29 for Exeter. The incident happened at just after 6:30am this morning, according to police.
