Paul Pierce issued a public apology to Anthony Edwards after the Timberwolves eliminated the Lakers in five games: “You one of them one ones.”

The Minnesota Timberwolves eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers from the NBA Playoffs with a 103-96 victory in Game 5, clinching the series 4-1. LeBron James and Luka Doncic combined for 50 points for the Lakers, who were outscored in the fourth quarter and struggled to contain Minnesota's size and rebounding.

The Timberwolves managed to finish off the Lakers in Game 5 with Edwards dropping 15 points and 11 rebounds in the clincher. As Edwards was taking in some fresh air outside the arena -- and receiving some heckling from Lakers fans -- he dropped a "Boyz n the Hood" reference.
