Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick has a lot to reflect on after losing in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Following his team's defeat against the Houston Rockets, Redick opened up on his debut season and promised to get better in his role.

While a first-round exit for a team with two of the league's biggest stars is viewed as a letdown, a report by The Athletic's Jovan Buha and Sam Amick revealed that first-year head coach JJ Redick is still safe.

But Kendrick Perkins, Redick's former ESPN colleague, drove pretty hard to the hole pinning the early exit on coaching decisions while appearing on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt.
