Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson benched Nick Castellanos on Tuesday, ending the outfielder’s streak of 236 consecutive starts.

Nick Castellanos is not in the Philadelphia Phillies lineup Tuesday, but it's not because he's injured or being given a day off. Castellanos is not in the lineup after making an "inappropriate comment" when he was pulled from Monday's game,

"I just thought last night he made a an inappropriate comment after he came out, and so today, he’s not going to play," manager Rob Thomson said.
