Spurs forward David Jones-Garcia continued his hot summer league start and set the tone for them physically. He finished with a game-high 24 points, efficiently making nine of his 12 shots. This happens to be the same “David Jones” Sixers fans may remember from last year’s summer league roster. There just may have been some bad blood.

The Sixers started with Judah Mintz, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Justin Edwards, Dominick Barlow and Adem Bona. Edwards hit an early catch-and-shoot three-pointer. Other than that, the Spurs had complete control in the first quarter.

LAS VEGAS -- The Philadelphia 76ers made a move recently in free agency to bring in Dominick Barlow on a two-way deal. The Sixers have been in need of some help on the frontline and some players who can step in and help on the glass and Barlow fits that bill.

Sixers two-way signing Dominick Barlow asked the team if he could play in Las Vegas Summer League. He got his wish, but the team struggled overall.

The summer version of the Philadelphia 76ers have themselves a long night in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Vegas.

No. 3 pick V.J. Edgecombe and No. 2 pick Dylan Harper expected to face off at Thomas & Mack Center at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.

VJ Edgecombe has played one game for the Philadelphia 76ers since being drafted with the third overall draft pick. He suited up for the Sixers against the Utah Jazz and Ace Bailey, dropping 28 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Edwards was undrafted and wondering what his pro basketball career might hold. Now, he's filled with promise for the Sixers.
