Fans of “Stranger Things” will get the chance to step into Hawkins, Indiana, when Netflix and CicLAvia team up for Stranger Things 5: One Last Ride, a car-free open streets event along Melrose Avenue celebrating the show’s fifth and final season.
The show will run through the next day. This is the first time that Netflix has released a television episode to theaters, according to Variety. Deadline, however, said Netflix held screenings of “Stranger Things 4: Volume 2″ months after its initial streaming release. Still, a theatrical release of a television episode is rare, Deadline said.
In the conversation, Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson, the endearing D&D -loving goofball who often serves as the comedic relief of the Hawkins crew, talked about how co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer prepared their cast for the inevitable end of their Upside Down adventures.
