Coming off a 78-65 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers in the Sweet 16, the Kentucky Wildcats are losing one of their own. According to Jeff Borzello of ESPN, guard Kerr Kriisa has entered the transfer portal.

No. 2 seed Tennessee (30-7) defeated No. 3 seed Kentucky (24-12), 78-65, Friday in the Sweet 16 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tennessee will next play No. 1 seed Houston (33-4) in the Elite Eight on Sunday in Indianapolis. Tipoff between the Vols and Cougars is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. EDT and will be televised by CBS.

With a win, Texas will advance to the Elite Eight round for the fourth time in a five-year span. Tennessee was last an Elite Eight qualifier in 2016.

Houston edged Purdue in the Sweet 16 on a last-second basket. Tennessee handled Kentucky, who had beaten them twice during the regular season.

Houston is in control all the way against Tennessee. The Cougars will play Duke next weekend in the Final Four.

Following Sunday's completion of the Elite Eight, ESPN college basketball analyst Joe Lunardi shared his score prediction for Duke-Houston. Despite Houston being a 4.5-point underdog ( ESPN BET ), Lunardi is picking the Cougars to beat the Blue Devils 75-70.
