HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans certainly didn’t look like a playoff team in a rout by the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday. With just one game left until the playoffs begin, the AFC South champions know they’ll have to get much better to be competitive in the postseason.

They can rest their starterts in Week 18. A rematch of last season’s AFC Divisional Round game is on the Christmas Day slate in Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season, with the Houston Texans playing host to the Baltimore Ravens.

Wide receiver Diontae Johnson, who the Texans claimed Tuesday off waivers from the Ravens, is inactive. He joins guard Shaq Mason, center/guard Juice Scruggs, linebacker Devin White, defensive end Jerry Hughes and defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi.
