In the last scene of the movie, Andy asks if Quynh will fight by her side to help her get back her friends. Quynh responds with “no,” but then adds it is Andy who will be fighting by Quynh’s side. Aww, these two scary lovers are back together! They playfully fight over who gets to go first, and with that, the movie ends.

The reunion fans were waiting for finally arrived, but not as they might’ve hoped. Quynh (Veronica Ngo), who was last seen at the bottom of the ocean in an iron maiden (in what was arguably the film’s most haunting subplot), has returned. And she is not in a forgiving mood.
