The Blue Jays could also put Bichette at DH, though that would mean moving George Springer to the outfield, and he's dealing with his own knee issue. Springer last played the field on Sept. 24 and played more games at DH (82) than in the field (54) this year. That said, the Blue Jays will do what they have to do to get Bichette in the lineup.

Bichette has never played second base in the major leagues. He gets his first crack at the position in Game 1 of the World Series.

Shortly after beating the Mariners in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series Monday night, All-Star shortstop Bo Bichette said he plans to be active for Toronto's matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
