The Switch 2 will also feature 256GB of internal storage, and although it may have leaked, Nintendo also revealed that the console's Joy-Con controllers will have mouse controls that can be magnetically detached from the unit and utilized for certain games.
Nintendo has remained tight-lipped about the chip powering the Switch 2, but thanks to Nvidia we now have a better idea of what it is and the next-gen features it will support. Those include DLSS, ray tracing, and Variable Refresh Rate in handheld mode for games that choose (or manage) to support them.
Nintendo will retail the Switch 2 for $449.99 at launch, which is significantly higher than the original Switch's $299 price tag. A separate bundle that includes the new "Mario Kart World" game will also be available for $499.99.
