Experimental weight loss medication is moving through the black market in Ireland at a concerning rate, posing serious risks to those who purchase them, an RTÉ investigation has found.

But having helped with one problem — lower smoking rates — the ever-increasing tax has inadvertently contributed to another: a booming black market robbing taxpayers of billions of dollars.
