Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel had multiple rounds of radiation therapy for breast cancer as she admits it 'hurts to be awake.'

Danielle Fishel is sharing an update about her health, saying she has completed “active cancer treatment” following her announcement in August that she was diagnosed with DCIS, which stands for ductal carcinoma in situ and is a form of breast cancer.

Danielle Fishel has completed 20 rounds of radiation as part of her treatment for breast cancer. And during the latest episode of her podcast, Pod Meets World, on Monday, Danielle shared that she's "officially done" with what is considered to be "active cancer treatment".

Singer Linda Nolan, part of the famed Irish family group The Nolans, died on Jan. 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Nolan, according to a report from the BBC, originally received a diagnosis of breast cancer in 2005, followed by a secondary breast cancer in 2017, which metastasized, or spread from its original site, to her brain by 2023.

Danielle Fishel shared she is “officially done” with her breast cancer treatments, but the “Boy Meets World” alum is dealing with the painful impact of 20 rounds of radiation. “I just wanted to give everyone an update because I’ve kept you guys all abreast,” Fishel said on the Jan. 13 episode of “ Pod Meets World ,” per PEOPLE.
