A large brush fire was spreading in the area of the Sunoco refinery in West Deptford, Gloucester County Saturday. Smoke plumes and ash had spread as far south as Glassboro and Washington Township, according to a post on the Gloucester County Emergency Management Facebook page.

A fire tore through an apartment building in Philadelphia’s Powelton neighborhood on Sunday. NBC10 was on the scene at around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of North 41st Street and Powelton Avenue to find firefighters still hosing water onto the charred inside of the building.

A fire in West Philadelphia Saturday night left two people injured, the fire department said. The blaze happened at around 10:45 p.m. Saturday on the 5400 block of Media Street, according to the fire department. Two people inside the rowhome were rescued and taken to the hospital.
