Jay Johnson and the third-ranked LSU Tigers will return to Plainsman Park on Sunday afternoon for a Game 3 clash against Auburn to round out the three-game series. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. CT with Chase Shores set to take the mound for the Tigers.

AUBURN, Ala. — LSU baseball had its nine game winning streak snapped on Friday, falling 8-4 to Auburn in Game 1 of its three game set at Plainsman Park. Sophomore left-hander Kade Anderson allowed five earned runs in 4⅓ innings while the LSU attack failed to score any runs until the seventh inning.

Ninth-ranked OU fell in Game 2 of its series against the Tigers, 10-2, in Norman. LSU jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two innings, proving more than enough to own the series. It will go for the sweep on Saturday at 2 p.m. from L. Dale Mitchell Park.
