Lanes on I-635 and the President George Bush Turnpike are closed in Irving due to a deadly multi-vehicle crash Wednesday evening.

Multiple lanes of eastbound I-635 and northbound State Highway 161 near MacArthur Boulevard in Irving were shut down Wednesday afternoon following a deadly crash, police said. According to the Irving Police Department,

Irving police say a fatal crash briefly shut down lanes of eastbound 635 and northbound lanes of Highway 161 during rush hour traffic. All lanes have since been reopened.
