Construction of Miami Freedom Park, Inter Miami’s new 25,000-seat stadium, is on schedule to open Spring 2026, according to stadium officials.
MIAMI -- Lionel Messi and Inter Miami will play a Major League Soccer match in their new stadium for the first time on April 4, one of the highlights of the league's schedule that was revealed Thursday.
The game is a matchup of the Western Conference’s top two teams. Both teams finished the regular season with 63 points, but SDFC received the top seed and home-field advantage through at least the Western Conference final because its 19 victories were one more than Vancouver’s.
The Western Conference Final in the MLS between San Diego FC and Vancouver Whitecaps will kick off at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will start at 6 p.m. local time in San Diego, California, at the Snapdragon Stadium. The match will be available to watch on the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
Should the stars align, SDFC will host the MLS Cup at Snapdragon Stadium a day after SDSU hosts the Mountain West championship game at Petco Park.
