A new edition of Giesen’s Nosferatu Story will be published next year, and a biography of the actor, Max Schreck: Gespenstertheater (Ghost Theater), was published by author Stefan Eickhoff in 2009.
He has nearly 50 film credits to his name, but Max Schreck is only remembered for one thing. In 1922, he appeared as the hook-nosed, claw-handed Count Orlok in Nosferatu.
