No Man’s Sky already lets players dig deep into the terrain of its near-infinite universe of planets, but now there will actually be cool stuff to find. Hello Games just announced general availability of a new update called Relics that brings a bit of Indiana Jones to everyone’s favorite space exploration sim.

The bones at these burial sites are not unprotected, however, as a new enemy known as the Reanimated Guardian will defend these bones from intruding Travellers. These are powerful and massive enemies, with both laser and melee attacks at their disposal designed to thwart any player's paleontological pursuits.

The latest major update for No Man's Sky, dubbed Relics, has finally brought archeology to the open-world game.
