Samantha Harvey’s novel 'Orbital' has won the Booker Prize. In a recent interview, she revealed that the book is more about Earth than space, despite its setting on the International Space Station.

The prize recognizes the best novel written in English and published in Britain or Ireland, and comes with a cash prize of 50,000 pounds, or $64,000 Orbital by Samantha Harvey has received the 2024 Booker Prize.

British author Samantha Harvey has claimed the 2024 Booker Prize with her book Orbital which is the first book set in space to win the prize. The book is written through the eyes of six astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
