It's a 'Battle of Champions' on the new season of the NBC singing competition series
Longtime fans of The Voice are in for a treat. After nearly 15 years on the air, NBC 's four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition has officially shaken things up for Season 29 by introducing something the show has never had: a commentator. And the person they tapped for the job? Comedian and internet sensation Druski.
Season 29, called " The Voice: Battle of Champions," starts with a two-hour premiere on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. ET on NBC, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock. The new season of The Voice will air in a two-hour slot every Monday night from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET/PT for the entire spring cycle.
In the upcoming The Voice Season 29, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend return as coaches, joining a special Battle of Champions edition.
For the first time ever, there aren't four celebrity mentors on the show.
After serving as a Coach for the show's first 23 seasons, the country star was not forgotten on The Voice: Battle of Champions.
Red chair icons Kelly Clarkson , Adam Levine, and John Legend have proven from their many victories that they know a thing or two about building a winner-worthy team, but in The Voice Season 29's Battle of Champions, they'll be receiving some backup and hysterical banter from social media star and comedian Druski.
