It is shaping up to be another stormy day in Greater Akron. The National Weather Service says thunderstorms are possible Friday across northern Ohio. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for all of Greater Akron 7 p.

The National Weather Service has issued the following warnings and watches: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Milam County until 7 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Williamson and Lampasas Counties until 7:30 p.

Southeast Texas on Friday is facing a rare heightened risk of severe weather, a threat level seen only when destructive weather events have followed, such as last May's derecho and the post-Christmas tornado outbreak.

There is the potential for thunderstorms, hail, strong winds, localized flooding and isolated tornadoes on Friday and early Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
