Vetkoek is a popular street food and a comforting snack in South Africa. Samp and Beans, also known as Umngqusho, is a traditional isiXhosa dish made from dried corn kernels (samp) and sugar beans.

Magwinya is the traditional phrasing for a vetkoek, or a savoury dough thrown into oil and fried. These are one of South Africa’s staple eats, found almost everywhere you can buy salt and flour.
